Colter's Birthday Party!

Colter, the Shiloh Shepherd, came to school for his birthday on February 1st.  He turned three years old.  The class presented him with the book that they wrote for him, as well as a number of fun birthday presents.  Colter wowed the kids by showing them that he can read some words.  He read the words SIT, DOWN, and PAW.  He had to practice a lot to learn those words!  The kids showed Colter how they are practicing to read as well.  They read their book folder books for him.  At the end of the party, everybody (but Colter), got to have a piece of birthday cake.

Some pictures from the party are below.  You can find more pictures on Colter's blog, which is linked in another area of this web page.

We share the book we wrote for Colter.

Colter likes his book!

We show Colter how to become good readers by practicing our books.
